You trail after the group with sorrowful steps. The tour is almost over, and you realize that you have really started to like this KTH place. The different buildings, all the strange little nooks, and the peculiar and downright unusual individuals. That you need to leave this place in just a little while feels devastating. You try your best to figure out an excuse to spend the next five, or six, or you know what maybe even the next seven years of your life here, but however hard you think you just can’t seem to come up with anything. Oh well, such is life.
After wandering into another participant you realize that the group has stopped. You see dAnkan excuse themselves for a moment and sneak into a building with a large K on its side. Moments later, they come back out hiding a small package under a wing. The tour continues, and after climbing some stairs you find yourself staring up at a pair of goats.
“Here’s the Sing-Sing yard, which is surrounded by the F building,” shouts dAnkan. “A fun fact about the F building is… Well one little detail is… Something worth mentioning would be… Hmm, let’s continue.”
You walk under an archway and find yourself in the courtyard; in the far distance you see the spot where all of this began. After spending some time watching dAnkan be chased by the robot lawn mowers, you all gather up in front of an entrance.
“Welcome to the best building! D, as you all likely already know, of course represents dAnkan. I got this building named after me after I helped save KTH from a large economic crisis. You could call me a bit of a hero.”
“Do we have to?” you ask.
“YES, this is actually really interesting, my method is the BEST, I simply counted all of KTH’s money MANUALLY by hand and by actually appreciating the money I increased its value. Manual labor is simply the best, everyone should try it once in a while!!” dAnkan says gleefully.
“ANYWAYS, enough about me,” continues dAnkan sharply. “This building is one of the oldest on campus, and within its walls you will find many secrets. The legends say that the one and only Viggo Kvack has his office here. Let’s look around!”
You wander around for a while, looking at computer rooms filled with both coders and decoders, some lecture halls, but finally stop in a dusty corridor in front of a well sealed door.
“This is an ancient, haunted lecture hall that was sealed many decades agoooo…” says dAnkan with an eerie voice. “It is said that if you stay inside for too long you will hear start hearing screams of death, like those you see silly urban explorers get pranked with”
“W-why was it sealed?” asks a scared participant.
“Terrible acoustics; the ghosts arrived at a later point. Anyway, it just so happens that we need to get through this door, but the ghosts don’t like letting people in so they’ve locked it with a lock:”
“You need to call out the incantation that it contains in order to open the door. I would love to help, but me and the ghosts have a bit of a pact going. But I’ll tell you this: Mexican calendars. That and a bit of patience and dedication is all you should need, and remember what I mentioned before!”
